WESTCHESTER BROADWAY THEATER IN THE HEIGHTS

IN THE HEIGHTS - Westchester Broadway Theater 029On Thursday, March 14, the cast had the pleasure of going to see IN THE HEIGHTS at Westchester Broadway Theater! It was awesome! We had a great meal and enjoyed an amazing show. The energy and love they had for each other on stage was very evident. Probably more exciting for our cast was the chance to meet the leads after the show. They talked to our cast about our show and were genuinely interested in what the kids were saying. They were so

They gave us their emails and asked us to stay in contact with them about our show! The director, John Fanelli, came over to talk to us during intermission. He gave us insights into the set building and other aspects of the show. Everyone left energized and ready for our 4:00 – 7:00 rehearsal. About 10 minutes into our trip home, our coach bus got sideswiped by a car. We didn’t even know it happened till our driver pulled over to the side of the road. For the next hour – while waiting for the state police – our kids talked about the show and sang the songs from IN THE HEIGHTS! We finally pulled into Immaculate around 6:20 – ran through “96,000” a couple of times – and then let them attack the pizza that Mrs. Decker patiently waited to serve for the last 2 hours. All in all a great day. Just another experience for our cast to appreciate IN THE HEIGHTS!IN THE HEIGHTS - Westchester Broadway Theater 028IN THE HEIGHTS - Westchester Broadway Theater 032
